Thanks for the welcome Ronigical. Since I see you are a Mod. I will post my Q here and if you could put it where it belongs-thx Belle.
I've believed in E.T's and sightings since I was a child. Who knows if my memories are real, dream, or an active imagination as a kid, but that is another story.
For the past week and a half i've had this constant almost mantra like repetion in the back of my head repeating 'somethings coming' It is just weird. So a week ago I started walking the dog late at night around 11:30 p.m. when it is cooler and keeping an eye on the skies while we walk. Not sure why i thought to look to the skies. I thought I saw something the other night while walking but dismissed it as imagination.
It was way too hot lastnight to walk. So the dog and I went outside around 10:30 p.m. to just sit, relax and look up at the stars. I was not tired so I know I didn't fall asleep!
I had a smoke then went inside to get a drink of water and went back out. I had another smoke when I got back out (sadly i am a heavy smoker). From where I always sit there is a commercial flight path that flies south in front of me and one that flies north in back of me. Once in a great while small little planes will cross the north/south flight lanes but way north or south of me to turn around. Never seen anything big do it, just cuz i havent seen it done doesn't mean it doesnt happen. Just little passenger plane airport in my town, have to go 100 miles to get a major airport.
I was looking to the left (south) and this pinpoint of white bright light hits my right eye. I turned to the right and there was nothing there. no cars, nobody outside, no yardlight, no airplane. Nothing was there. This was prob. about 10:45 p.m. I didn't have a watch or clock around me. Within a short amount of time I saw a bright light shoot into the sky & disappear (dont know where it started from). It wasn't like any shooting stars I have seen. This happened 5 more times all headed up into the western sky. It felt like it was the same interval between each one. They sort of went down the line, a, b, c... leaving from a different spot heading towards the same spot. Before each one happened the birds and cicada's went quite, there was not a sound. Soon as i saw it in the air the animals were so loud as if screaming, except not one neighborhood dog barked during all of this. After the last one I had another smoke.
While having my ciggy, this plane like thing comes from that general direction of where the lights headed. It was headed east fast. At the same time a commercial plane was headed south. thankfully this other thing was high above the airplane. It was going a good 3-4 x's faster than the jet, crossing above the south/north flight paths. I didnt hear anything after a minute i couldnt see it anymore. I put my smoke out. the dog is still laying at my feet.
I looked back up at the sky and the damn extra fast plane looks as if it is going over my house in slow motion. There was 1 white light then red lights all around it. They were a soft red but bright enough I could see the outline of the bottom and back of it. Could have been a military plane or chopper.? But then it went super fast again, it went way out then headed back making repeated almost grid like sweeps. When it got way to the south of me a bright light shot out towards the sky on an angle going much faster than the big one. and went under it on its way up. This faster white light one went up heading from the south up to the west, turned and headed straight up and both were then gone.
I heard a crunching to the left of me, figured it was probably a cat or coon but the dog is normally right on those things giving chase. At that same time i heard what i thought was the dog urinating awfully close to me. Last I knew she was at my feet where she will stay. I turned my head in the direction of the pee sound. Dog is asleep way behind my chair. Dont know what the noise was. Had another smoke and we went inside. Of course remember that i am a heavy smoker, I only had 4 smokes in what I thought was 1 hour.
We went inside I was very parched and needed some water. We went into the kitchen got a drink and looked at the clock. It was 1:33 am. Went to dump out the ashtray, figured it was full since we were outside for 3 hours. There was only 4 ciggy butts in it.
So now, what did i see? Where did 2 of my hours go? I didnt spend it in my chair smoking and looking at stars since i barely smoked and didnt think i was out very long.
Now today the dog seems to be slightly 'off'. She will not go outside unless someone goes out and stays with her. She acts almost scared to go out, will not let me out of her sight. Finally had one of my kids take the dog in their room and shut the door so i can have a break from her.
I know i saw something, but not sure what. Hope someone can explain what is going on.
Sorry this is so long, but wanted to try to explain everything that happened. Will be going out again tonight but with a clock.

That is a fascinating story. I don't have any answers, but thanks for taking time to tell it. Look forward to more posts from you. (I'm new here, too.)

belle, missing time is one of the things that are reported by people that have had an abduction experience. Thank you for your story and would like to hear more if you think about anything that comes to mind. I would also suggest looking into your missing time.

Thanks for telling us your experiance belle, its very interesting. Whilst missing time can be attributed to Alien Abductions there are also Scientific explanations for missing time. One of them is called Hypnagogia, basicaly its where one might fall asleep in the middle of something without actually realizing it and then having no recollection of knowing where the time before falling asleep and then awaking went. Im not saying this is what youve experianced but it is an explanation. What you tell us doesnt sound like this to me.

Hi, Belle! Anything interesting outside tonight? Yeah I saw something on the night of the 19th. I do feel funny saying all the things I keep seeing. Hubby laughs and teases me which makes me feel like maybe I'm seeing things. LOL BUt I know the things i am seeing are odd or off from normal. On the 19th @ 11 pm I am looking south at what looks like a normal sattelite. Then right in my vision like right now is a large yellowish/orangeish ball looking thing. It was coming in my general direction(so it headed S to N) At first i thought it was a very very low flying plane. but it didnt sound like a plane and had no flashing lights. It was a solid orange/yellow ball. Once it flew past my place I got up to go look for it but then my son came outside very upset and said he had to tell me something important. He became very upset because he cannot remember what it was & still cannot remember. Oh the ball started way way up in the sky and came down while flying north. I looked all over the website (still have alot to look at) but found an incident that was similiar but different because their ball was red. I found an incident more closely related this morning i think it was under new report or sightings? Someone in New Orleans captured a picture of 3 of the balls on the same night i saw 1. I've been seeing alot of 'stuff' lately. It would seem silly to report it somewhere other than getting it off my chest here.

Even though it would be great to jump up and say alien, I much prefer to cross of what it could and couldn't be before coming to a conclusion. Which is why i am here, to find out what all i can learn.

I hope it's OK to reference another site here. I have never had a UFO sighting, but if I did, I believe I would file a report every time here (see below). Peter Davenport I have heard on C2CAM a few times, and each time he says it is good to talk about what you see, but if he does not have the data in his data base, he can't help anyone. He has about 500 new ones a month, it looks like. You can look and see if someone else saw what you saw. www.ufocenter.com/

I would check the local press for any similar reports, also check with a local field investigator, mufon could provide a contact address, I am interested to know if there are military bases or power satations in the area.

I'm in N. Texas/S. Oklahoma (usa). There are military bases approx. 100 miles away in each direction. What I've been seeing could very well be military. Every thing i've been seeing is with my eyes as I do not own a telescope or binoculars so it does have to be close for me to see it. The thing that flew slowly over my house a couple days ago then went fast and in a grid like pattern had to have been close for me to see it. The only thing I could describe it as is like a tall flat bottomed house boat.sorry i cant explain it better.

You describe it as a flat bottomed house boat, were you able to see the shape of it clearly ? Can you estimate the altitude ? Did it make any noise ? Would you be able to draw what you seen in paint then post it for us to see ? What county do you live in ? If you dont want everyone to know you can pm me this. Also what were the dates you observed the object(s) ? I know its alot of questions Im just trying to get as much info as I can so that I can check some data bases.

Hi Meldrew,
I read <online> the major newspapers for my state and the next one. Going to town to get my local paper since they list all police calls. I am slowly researching for similiar incidents. I am also in the process of transcribing the notes that I take in the dark to something more ledgible. I note the time and every little thing I see, might be overkill but it seems to work for me at the moment.

Im of the belief that you have to explore every scenario before coming to any conclusions.

this report seems similar, without the missing time but the same date. UFOs confuse South Carolina residentsJason McClellan | Jul 23, 2012 UFO over South Carolina. (Credit: Joe Kiernan/NewsChannel 15) Multiple residents along South Carolina’s Grand Strand recently observed UFOs in the sky. WPDE NewsChannel 15 recently aired a story about a July 18 sighting by Longs, SC resident Joe Kiernan. He told NewsChannel 15 that he observed strange flashing lights in the night sky for more than three hours. He explains that these UFOs “did climbs, they went to altitudes, they changed directions that are beyond physics. It’s just not possible.” After the story aired, other witnesses contacted NewsChannel 15. The station interviewed witness Bill Barrett after he posted on the NewsChannel 15 Facebook page. After explaining that the lights he saw made no sense to him, he stated, “If there’s something out there or it’s a military type situation, who knows? But it makes you scratch your head that’s for sure.” MUFON (Mutual UFO Network) reports indicate that several others saw the same strange lights. According to one witness report, these lights “were coming from many directions and in many formations.” The flashing lights reportedly occurred in many “different sequences of flashes.” Orange spheres and white, twinkling lights were both described by witnesses. NewsChannel 15 reports that the Federal Aviation Administration says “none of its pilots reported anything strange in the air that night,” and nearby Shaw Air Force Base was not conducting training missions along the coast that night. Witnesses and officials have no idea what the lights were, but some witnesses say that the July 18 sighting was not the first time they have observed these lights in the sky, and some have even seen the lights since. www.openminds.tv/ufos-confuse-south-carolina-residents-807/

Hi belle I was sent an email which might be of interest to you of some sightings of a disc and triangle shaped UFO's over Texas on the 25th of this month it seems to me that there's a hell of alot of activity there. Here's the reports: Quote: Three UFO reports of triangle or disc-shaped objects on July 25, 2012, were reported from Denton County, Texas, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database. A fourth case may be related from nearby Grayson County.
A witness was stargazing on an apartment patio in Denton County about 12:30 a.m. on July 25 when a triangle-shaped object was observed hovering in the sky in Case 41135.
"At first I thought it was a satellite, but noticed that it wasn't conventional moving across the sky," the witness stated. "Instead it was creating hovering-like motions as well as moving back and forth and even covering up other stars in the night sky."
A second witness in Denton County reported a triangle-shaped object at 10:35 p.m. on July 25, that was hovering and shooting beams of light in Case 41150.
The witness and some friends began watching the light.
"Triangle shape, hovering and then moving in fast random motions and slow motions," the reporting witness stated. "Seems to have 'headlight' at the top of triangle and at one point glowed orange and 'shot out' beams of red."
The object remained in the area for more than three hours.
"It is now 1:20 a.m. (July 26) and I can still see the object but, it has 'calmed' going much slower, no fast movements and seems to be getting farther away."
Then about 5 p.m. on July 25, a third Denton County witness was outside with the family dogs when a disc-shaped object was observed in Case 41153.
"At first glance, I figured it was a commercial airplane," the witness stated. "I noticed it was traveling at a slow speed and there was no sound, and no apparent appendages (wings etc.) It was silver/gray in color. There was no light reflection from the sun making it glow or shine. It was a typical disc-like shaped object, flat and long. No other aircraft were visible from my vantage point when I first spotted the anomaly."
While observing a Southwest Airlines jet, the disc object made a U-turn.
"The disc-like object was traveling north in the western sky at a slower speed than the commercial aircraft and the U-turn was not abrupt, just a semi-sharp, rounded turn, now heading in a southerly direction and disappearing into a cloud bank."
The witness was trying to hear a sound from the disc object.
"After the Southwest airplane was out of sight, I could no longer hear the Southwest jet engines, but I should have heard some engine noise from whatever was still traveling in the clouds above. I tried to see if the object had emerged from the cloud cover, but was unable to re-locate it. Within the next minute or two, a military aircraft leaving a long contrail, making considerable noise despite its height, was headed extremely fast in the southerly direction I last witnessed the object moving in."
One day earlier, about 10 p.m. on July 24, 2012, in nearby Grayson County, a witness reported a dark triangle-shaped object.
"This is exactly the same craft I reported earlier this year," the witness stated. "It moves very slowly , but this time it was directly above me and did emit a very low rumble that I did not hear the last time I saw it. It came from the southeast and moved northwest and then turned slightly more northwest after passing my position. It appeared to be heading in almost exactly the same direction after the slight turn as it had traveled the last time I saw it. Their was no other aircraft in the immediate area this time and the ruby red light in center mass which I saw last time was not on (or visible )." www.examiner.com/article/multiple-witnesses-file-ufo-reports-from-northeastern-texas?CID=examiner_alerts_article |

Man, I sure wish we would have seen that. All we saw that night was a ball lightning, a weird light do a loop-de-loop in the sky . Then before we came in a light in the sky dropped like dead weight somewhere (could be anywhere) seemingly behind the neighbor across the way. Got up and walked around and looked. Didn't see anything. Nothing that seems odd enough to be reported. Still keeping notes on every little thing.
Nothing last night (26) due to extreme cloudiness.
