THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF PHILIP J. KLASS To ufologists who publicly criticize me ... or who even think unkind thoughts about me in private, I do hereby leave and bequeath: THE UFO CURSE No matter how long you live, you will never know any more about UFOs than you know today. You will never know any more about what UFOs really are, or where they come from. You will never know any more about what the U.S. Government really knows about UFOs than you know today. As you lie on your own death-bed you will be as mystified about UFOs as you are today. And you will remember this curse. They in fact do not know one thing more now than they knew in 1947. The major difference between when the challenge was published and today is that their overrated "homework" books are harder to find. UFO Curse, originally published in Saucer Smear, October 10, 1983

Philip J Klass is one of the top UFO sceptics ever, he made a living out of debunking the subject, but in his UFO curse, to me anyway it admits there ARE UFOs and the government knows about them, but us poor sods will never find out the truth. Here's a soundbite George Adamski's alien was named Orthon, now Orthon had long blonde hair and came from the planet Venus, Adamski claimed he went there with Orthon in a space ship and that Venus was fully inhabited with citys and farms, Now I really don't bloody believe it ;D
then in 1965 Arthur Bryant an Englishman, alleged that he had an encounter with a flying saucer, one of the three beings from the saucer was a youth who spoke with an eastern European accent and called himself Yamski, Bryant also claimed to have a piece of the Mustang P51 that was flown by Thomas Mantell, this was then the subject of a book written by Eileen Buckle called "The Scoriton Mystery: Did Adamski Return. Suggesting that Yamski was the reincarnation of George Adamski. Bryant then died of a brain tumor, a later interview with Bryants widow she said she knew the story as her husband had written it as a science fiction novel. thats enough madness for now ;D

Temperature inversions. I've heard of this a few times, its one of the excuses used when there is a radar contact with an unknown object or UO, this piece below basically makes that excuse look a load of tosh.
That afternoon things bustled in the Pentagon. Down on the first floor Al Chop was doing his best to stave off the press while up on the fourth floor intelligence officers were holding some serious conferences. There was talk of temperature inversions and the false targets they could cause; but the consensus was that a good radar operator could spot inversion-caused targets, and the traffic controllers who operated the radar at Washington National Airport weren't just out of radar school. Every day the lives of thousands of people depended upon their interpretation of the radar targets they saw on their scopes. And you don't get a job like this unless you've spent a good many years watching a luminous line paint targets on a good many radarscopes. Targets caused by inversions aren't rare -- in the years that these men had been working with radar they had undoubtedly seen every kind of target, real or false, that radar can detect. They had told the Bolling AFB intelligence officer that the targets they saw were caused by the radar waves bouncing off a hard, solid object. The Air Force radar operator at Andrews backed them up; so did two veteran airline pilots who saw lights right where the radar showed a UFO to be.
Then on top of all this there were the reports from the Washington area during the previous two weeks -- all good -- all from airline pilots or equally reliable people.
To say the least, the sighting at Washington National was a jolt.

reports of aerial intruders over the nation's capital in early summer, 1952.

This article could go in the Ancient Aliens section, but without watching the accompanying video I couldn't source it, there is no source with the article, it smacks of an All News Web article to me, the video is on the Disclose TV site so you need to click on the site to view it. www.unexplainable.net/ancients/5-000-year-old-vimana-flying-machine-discovered.php5,000 Year Old Vimana Flying Machine Discovered In Afghanistan By David Martinez 10/5/12 - Posted Under Category: Ancient Civilizations What caused the sudden rush of these most powerful leaders of the Western World to go to Afghanistan, this report continues, was to directly view the discovery by US Military scientists of what is described as a “Vimāna” entrapped in a “Time Well” that has already caused the “disappearance” of at least 8 American Soldiers trying to remove it from the cave it has been hidden in for the past estimated 5,000 years. Vimāna Important to note about “Vimāna” technology is that this mysterious aircraft is the long-known mythological flying machine described in the ancient Sanskrit epics that existed prior to the last overturning of our Earth and were purported to have weapons eerily similar to today’s atomic bombs. Reference to ancient Indian flying vehicles comes from ancient Indian sources, many are the well known ancient Indian Epics, and there are literally hundreds of them. Most of them have not even been translated into English yet from the old Sanskrit. It is claimed that a few years ago, the Chinese discovered some Sanskrit documents in Lhasa, Tibet and sent them to the University of Chandrigarh to be translated. Dr. Ruth Reyna of the University said recently that the documents contain directions for building interstellar spaceships! Their method of propulsion, she said, was “anti-gravitational” and was based upon a system analogous to that of “laghima,” the unknown power of the ego existing in man’s physiological makeup, “a centrifugal force strong enough to counteract all gravitational pull.” According to Hindu Yogis, it is this “laghima” which enables a person to levitate. Dr. Reyna said that on board these machines, which were called “Astras” by the text, the ancient Indians could have sent a detachment of men onto any planet, according to the document, which is thought to be thousands of years old. The manuscripts were also said to reveal the secret of “antima”, “the cap of invisibility” and “garima”, “how to become as heavy as a mountain of lead.”

By all means mate you go ahead No seriously maybe a drone of some kind could hover for 4 hrs but why would a drone be over someones house? Ive looked at the video and to be honest its just a few amber lights in the sky something weve seen many times before, they arnt moving erraticly or anything like that, it could be planes in a holding pattern waiting to land. Ive got to question this case, it was there for 4hrs but she only got a 1min 8secs video ? come on seriously.

I agree, my first thought was, she went back to bed and went to sleep ? then woke up and it was still there, if they were frightened would they be able to sleep ? adrenalin would keep you awake I would have thought, and there is a son in law involved, always a bit of a sign that is, renown pranksters are son in laws.

Iv'e just came across this article from 2009, quite interesting. Russian spacecraft landed on moon hours before AmericansA previously unheard recording of a Russian spacecraft attempting to beat NASA's Apollo 11 in 1969's race to the moon has been released. In July 1969, the telescopes at the Jodrell Bank Observatory, in Cheshire, were tracking the Americans' Eagle Lander carrying astronauts towards the moon's surface. Sir Bernard Lovell, the astronomer, was among the team listening to transmissions coming from the area of space and began tracking the unmanned Soviet spacecraft Luna 15, which was trying to collect samples of lunar soil and rock and then return to Earth before the US mission. The recordings from Jodrell's Lovell radio telescope, which were hidden in archives until researchers found them, show the Russian craft orbited the Moon and crash-landed onto its surface at 15:50 on July 21 – just a few hours before the Americans lifted off. In the newly released recordings, which were made over three days, Sir Bernard, the founder of Jodrell Bank, can be heard narrating events with conversation from the Apollo 11 astronauts in the background. Sir Bernard notes a change in the orbit of Luna 15 to take it closer to the US landing site and later reports a rumour from a "well-informed source in Moscow" that the craft is about to land. People in Jodrell's control room can then be heard shouting "it's landing" and "it's going down much too fast" as they track Luna 15's final moments before it crashes. A voice is later heard saying: "I say, this has really been drama of the highest order." The recordings have been released by The University of Manchester's Jodrell Bank Centre for Astrophysics to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Moon landings. www.telegraph.co.uk/science/space/5737854/Russian-spacecraft-landed-on-moon-hours-before-Americans.html

Nick Redfern where's the plot ? I think Nick Redfern is looking for the plot, as he seems to have lost it
his latest blog is something way out there, here are a few snippets.
a Bible being found in the Roswell crash,
CIA interest in Noah's Ark,
a government think tank which studied UFOs and determined that they were demonic in origin
pyramids, the Navy, and acoustic levitation.
to have a look http://nickredfernfortean.blogspot.co.uk....nal-events.html

I came across this post today, I won't name the forum but I found this interesting **************************************************** When I worked for the Metropolitan Police we had a well established rule when taking witness statements. It could be as street robbery/mugging, shop lifting, violent crime or a vehicle collision. The rule is the 20% rule, this is where after years of experience, the Police will tell you that the witness will only recall on average 20% of the incident in reasonable accuracy. The rest I'm afraid to say is made up to fill the gaps and please the interviewing Officer. Evidence from several witnesses of the same incident will be correlated to see if a pattern or trend is evident and no one is blatantly not telling the truth. A witness testimony found to be at odds or contradictory with all other statements are often then termed 'unsafe'. I don't see the **** witness statements being any different. **************************************************** I did leave a reply, it was a UFO forum, I would like to get him here and ask a few questions myself

what year has been the most significant for UFO reports ? it could be 1952, here is a report from 52 RAF pilot's close encounter with UFO An RAF fighter pilot’s encounter with a UFO over Germany in 1952 was deemed so credible it got taken seriously by the then aviation minister Duncan Sandys. In a new document released by the Churchill Archive at Cambridge University Flight Sergeant Roland Hughes describes what happened. He was returning to base when he was followed by a 'gleaming silver, metallic disc.' The object disappeared at incredible speed after flying along beside him. RAF radars picked it up traveling at speeds beyond anything possible for any aircraft of the time. In his briefing to the Government minister, he speaks of a flash of 'silver light' which rapidly descended towards him until he could see that it was a 'gleaming silver-metallic disc'. Its surface was shiny 'like tin foil' and it had a 'highly reflective and absolutely seamless metallic-looking surface'. The pilot was in a de Havilland Vampire at the time and estimated the size of the UFO to be equal to the wingspan of a Lancaster bomber. Three other pilots also returning to RAF Oldenburg in Northern West Germany did not see the object as they were executing a 'banking turn.' So convinced was the aviation minister by the account that he later briefed senior civil servants, telling them he was convinced of the authenticity of the sighting. After the sighting, Flt Sgt Hughes was nicknamed 'Saucer Sam' and colleagues painted a flying saucer on his jet. bfbs.com/news/germany/raf-pilots-close-encounter-ufo-57746.html
