Hi All! Briefly, my story - when I was about 17 or so I was riding in my boyfriend's car out in the woods. It was night, and very dark, and we noticed what appeared to be a car (two lights) coming toward us through the trees from the sky. I remember learning forward, and I remember feeling panic... then we were downtown (about 5 miles away) and it was a 2 or 3 hours later and it felt like waking up from surgery. We never spoke about it. Many years later, when I was in my 30's I ran into my old boyfriend and we had coffee and a long talk. As he was leaving he suddenly stopped and asked if I remembered "that night". I knew what he meant, and I said yes. He nodded, and then left. I hesitate to say I was abducted, mostly because up until recently (I'm now in my 50's by the way) I just couldn't talk about it. Ever, to anyone. Reading the list of 58 signs you were abducted amazed me... I have several of them. Also was hypnotized for something unrelated and totally panicked. Also diagnosed with PTSD, but no one can figure out what my trauma was. Anyway - any ideas and thoughts are greatly appreciated!

Actually I was hypnotized because my therapist believed I was sexually abused. I was being treated for PTSD. I had never told ANYONE about what I remembered that night, hadn't even thought of it until recently. When they brought me under hypnosis, I freaked and they brought me up, and I ran out of the room. Just terrified, but don't know why. Never found any memories that would cause the PTSD either, and I still take meds for anxiety. As I said it's been about 40 years since this incident, and I want to know if it was anything or not, and what it could've been.

Hi stewie, I have had similar stuff happen to me from the age of about 6 until about 30. I still get strange stuff happening but at the time I managed to deal with it, and looking back the worst bits were not knowing what had happened. However over the years (I am nearly 60 now) you get to recall stuff that happened. I can now recall things (abduction, missing time and the surgery) and see faces and things that were blocked at the time, you would poss benefit from some hypnosis and after that you should be able to find out more (most abductees are not only taken once but multiple times). Welcome aboard the forum
