Welcome aboard b7evan! What is the "...life long fascination."? Ever since I was 10 years old I have collected pictures and cut outs from local papers, I have always struggled with the closed mind belief that people think we are the only existence in the universe. i have never been religious and always look at things scientifically, logically and open minded. I did eventually loose interest as I reached the age of chasing woman and Working away a lot, so I ended up selling all them years of research and memorabilia to a local ufo researcher. I traveled a bit, spent a year working in sanjose and LA were in 1991 on a job Near Orange County I met an old guy who showed me his vintage porche 356. We chatted over a few days and he began to tell me about his deceased brother who worked as a high ranking officer in the us Air Force, discussing alien crafts that were made of biological materials the could not be back engineered, alien craft with womb shaped helmets that controlled the craft propulsion etc. This convisation gripped me and gave me back the interest I had lost and now a marriage, 4 kids and an engineering job that takes most of my time away, I am still eager to chase this fascination!

Hi b7evan, the story you've been told about the UFO's being biological kinda remind me of David Adair's testimony about working on a Symbiotic Engine that he claimed was "alive" at Area 51 back in the 1970's, here's a thread with a documentary and statements by David Adair that you might be interested in
