Sleep paralysis doesn't count for the people who were awake when they were taken??? I have had Sleep Paralysis and I thought I was being visited. And truthfully, I am starting to remember little things here and there that make me think that is wasn't sleep paralysis at all. I guess I am saying that you cant label and compartmentalize these types of things. The programmed you would love to do that with all things. In truth, there is to many individual cases with different circumstances.

I was 16 and it was just before midnight when I decided to go to bed. I wasn't tired so I picked up a book and started to read when my night light flicked off at the same time a pulsating noise viabrated my bedroom walls. At first I thought it was an earthquake for some reason. Then a bright blue light flooded my whole room and it seem to grow strong and get light right along with the noise and vibration it made. I never for one instant thought it was an helicopter because lets face it...we all know what a helicopter sounds like when its close, right?! I tried to move but to no avail. Next thing I knew my mom was coming down the hall. I said "mom, did you hear that?" she said yes. "did you see that light?" And she said no. We assumed it was because her bedroom was on another side of the house. Then decided to go have some warm tea. After that we numbly sat down in the living room and that's when I realized that it was about 3:30am.
I realize that this thread is on sleep paralysis and I have considered this. I try and look at things logically first. But if I was having sleep paralysis why did my mother have an experience at the same time. Why did this happened when I was fully awake?
I've had a few other experiences in my life. But there might be other dicussions here for those. When I've decided that it's just freaking me out too much I lock it out of my mind. No reading about it, no talking about it, etc... If it was an abduction, or possibly maybe my mother was and not me...I feel deep down in my soul that it isn't something that is happening to me anymore. Just a feeling and glad for it.

Intriguing. I've read most of that stuff before (advantages to studying psychology, I guess), and although your telling of it is somewhat simplified I wouldn't say it's wrong per se. On the other hand, there's always something more to learn, and I've learned that closing your mind is the worst thing you can do.

I've only experienced 1 sleep paralysis in my life that can be contributed to a certain event.
I was between 6-8 years old, I remember waking up before the sun came up and I was living in this apartment complex. My brother and I shared the same bed because my parents weren't very rich. I remember getting up and then looking out the window because I've never woke up before the sunrise before, I thought. Behind my apartment, there is a construction site and storage for dirt and cement blocks. Usually during the day, its busy with workers recycling the cement. However, this morning was different. No activity. As I stared, I saw these shadow things move across the ground like they were walking. This freaked me out that I laid back down. I closed my eyes and suddenly, I couldn't breathe. I tried to move, couldn't do that neither. I tried to reach for my brother and scream for him but I struggled. I didn't see anything and then I started to cry. I was so frightened by it and I didn't know what happened. I think I ended up crying myself back to sleep because I remember waking up and my brother was asking me why the bed was so wet from me sweating. I never told him anything nor my parents because they aren't open as I am.

Hello Aelius,
I didn't comment here before because I felt I needed time to reread your post. My brother and I at about the same age as you described also had close sleeping quarters and for the same reasons. Your story is a rather frightening one especially for a child. I've never had that kind of experience though I have read much on the experience of others. When I first came onto the UFO scene someone on my first Forum saw 4 or 5 "small beings go by the windo and then appear in the room. I couldn't imagine myself such an episode. I've certainly had dreams back then when I couldn't scream, couldn't yell out, felt hot, and finally woke up in a sweat. But that was in the dream state. I have to say after reading your account that I would have been forever changed in what I thought of my world had what you witnessed happened to me. Glad you're here BTW. Sounds as if you have much to offer.

I did have asthma when I was little but I've long grown out of the active state into dormancy. However, I've had asthma attacks before and it was no asthma attack as some were suggesting that it was because of a heightened state of fear. I did not see anything in my room at the time (Perhaps, I didn't know what to look for at the time to notice) but all in all, that was the only time I had a paralysis moment in my life beyond my control.
Yes, I have plenty memories of my past that are frankly confusing yet, informative.

Hello Alius,
Being a kid is so weird as I look back. I had no philosophy, nothing to put anything together. Things just happened and all I seem to be able to do was experience them. The funny thing is I didn't even know what WAS wierd as opposed to normal. I guess that's what being a kid is. Reflecting on things was not even a consideration; only a being capable of absorption and of course fear LOL.

I am not sure how alien abductions come into this or whether it is relevant...perhaps it is?
Sleep paralysis to what I understand is the misalignment of the spirit as the the person suddenly awakens. The Silver Chord is tugged, as the person suddenly has the sensation of falling.
Both the physical and spiritual bodies are locked in a kind of pre-engagement out of synchronicity, resulting in the person not having control of their body which results in Sleep Paralysis.
Often the person will feel disorienated after returning to normal. Going back to sleep for a few minutes before awakening will norally correct the problem.
Just my thoughts

I myself experience Sleep Paralysis every now and then.
But to Answer a few of the original Threads topics.
Faster then light travel is possible, and yes time dilation will play a role when one is moving only through our 4th dimensional universe (The speed of light or slower I believe) I think once you move faster than light you are no longer traveling through 4th dimensional space time, but partially through 5th and 6th dimensional spatial time. So instead of traveling through space as we know it you are instead skipping through space time. It would require either some form of fusion energy production or anti matter to achieve as one would need to create a "Negative Gravitational bubble" by using mass moving very fast making its own gravitational waves to create said "bubble"
I view dimensions very differently I should however add to this. I see dimensions not as solid numbers but instead a gradient of the different perspectives we can perceive. In terms of space however as we commonly know. The 1st dimension is a single dot, 2nd dimension is a plane (3 dots or vertices to create the 2 dimensional space being a triangle)
Then to jump to the 3rd spatial dimension add another single dot, and you get the 3rd dimension, being a tetrahedron defining a "3d" space. Now for the 4th dimension being the experience of time, add all possible 1 dimensional dots or vertices to fill the tetrahedron thus allowing movement through the tetrahedron space.
Without all those 1 dimensional dots or vertices it would be impossible to move within the space of the tetrahedron. This I see as proven by the now accepted existence of gravitational waves, space is not empty it is actually "something". I took the popular definition of the 3rd dimension and divided it up to have a frozen form (the 3D I defined above) and a fluid form (the new 4D I defined above).
Now onto the 5th dimension, is time moving both forwards and backwards, so in the 5th dimensional version of space, you can travel through the vertices of 4th dimensional space and experience it in one direction, AND also go back to an almost exact version of what was previously experienced. The 6th dimension involves the "skipping" through space as I mentioned above, essentially being able to travel from one face of the tetrahedron to another without disturbing the space in between, thus being a "worm hole".
Its my firmly held belief by the way that most black holes are actually breaks in space time leading through depending on their size the 5th dimension or possibly both the 5th and 6th dimensions I defined above (essentially inter dimensional portals). I'm however still pondering this idea, as many people have made many arguments about how they lead to nothing but your death. I believe hawking Radiation to be a signature of this phenomenon as breaking through these higher dimensions would release radiation. To me there is a highly positive force of a black hole up to its event horizon, what lies beyond the event horizon has to be a negative gravitational bubble or the event horizon would be almost infinitely small due to the gravitational forces required for light not being able to escape.

They are real my Opinion,in my Paralysis and Out of Body expirience with The Paralysis, First comes to the Paralysis Then Out of body, i See myself from above and slowly Like howering down in my Body but it is so real and i'm Like aware of this ,sure cant move in the Paralysis ,only my eyes i can move but nothing Else and often when comes to the Paralysis the the Shadow figure Like Shadow man darker Then dark comes in my Room this happened Sometimes while i'm meditating or even i'm at sleep the the Paralysis come when i am in bed and i see the Shadow man and hear a tingeling noise in my ear Like Pep Pep and Feeling that my Energy this Shadow drawns Out of me, and a Lot Lot of People See this Shadow figure and Encounter around the Globe and Out of body, abduction and so on.for me it is real this feels Not Like a normal Dream often a Person is aware of this expiriences and can for Sure say or distinguish If its a dream Imagination or for real, Sure People that have Not this encounters and expiriences can Not Unterstand or know how it is because it's hard to explain how ist feels, but this ist only my Opinion ewerybody makes His own Opinion, sorry If my english ist Not so correct in some way, Love to you all 😀

Welcome aboard selmir1984. I wouldn't worry too much about your English. Works fine for me. I too have episodes of waking sleep paralyses, but considering my masters in biomedical regulatory affairs, I realize, on a scientific level, what is occurring to me and go back to sleep. I have yet to see anything wandering around me during these episodes. Again, welcome aboard. ron
