But to be fair they should be treat as suspicious because the whole subject is suspicious. Many people like to see what others have seen of taken pictures of, but everyone should keep an open mind.

Hmm the 1957 one with the chap holding up a drawing is similar to what was described that landed at Rendelshem Forest. The cloud formations are just clouds and nothing else. Interesting video of older images so well done on this.

Pope will advise of it if you ask him etc. He told me in 2012 that Perks contacted him so it wouldn't of been in the files that Pope worked on. But what I'm saying is what if Pope and Perks were working together from then onward you never know?
That witness account is very sort of 'straight forward' and don't sit right with me.
Perks apparently ran sky watches in the Shrewsbury area I think but I will have to try and find out. If thats the case then if he had people go with him on them then maybe they can help and shed light on this? I'm in Birmingham so I don't know that area very well I'm afraid.

I watched that show and it didn't do itself any favours, but after researching it a bit it looks like Perks may have been paid by the BBC to go in and try and balance things out a bit. A mate of mine works in the RAF in Scotland and has met Perks three times since 2015, whilst he was on base with the MoD apparently testing thermal imaging equipment with RAF Police units. My mate who I can't obviously name works on air traffic control and said Perks was very 'normal' in terms of talking in the mess to him and colleagues, but his unit or branch was relatively unknown although he was in attachment to the RAF Police via the MoD. Now we do know he worked for a public company in Scotland with thermal imaging gear but they are also an approved MoD contractor.
There was word he has been seen in Shrewsbury in recent years but I would expect that as he is from there, this would be to visit friends or family. Also RAF Shawbury is just up the road so no doubt he has been working there or something too?
It would seem a very high possibility that as an MoD employee, he would easily have been able to get inside or onside with the BBC etc. Hence him appearing in that BBC3 show and doing other consulting for the BBC, which was similar to what Nick Pope did. Now Pope and Perks are linked closely in that Perks says he approached Pope initially regarding the Cosford UFO incident. I have my doubts wth this whole witness business and Perks account of what he saw, and it is quite plausible Perks and Pope made up his account to add fuel and a bit of murky info to the incident. That saying the Cosford incident Perks says he witnessed close up looks like it could be more a stealth flight and the MoD are believed to have withheld document from FOIA releases.
Perks is MoD without a doubt and my contact in the RAF is solid and would not lie about this. So this means he is not only dangerous but one to avoid by all means. I hate to think of what he found out whilst in the UFO community and that is a worry.

Yes I did see that website previously but it looks like a bit of a no goer to be honest. Couple of people have seen him working at MoD Donnington in Shropshire in uniform this year and I know Nick Pope has made a recent comment to a journalist for the Daily Mail that he works for the MoD. Looking into Perks past employment he did serve in the Army and I had a friend check him out and his service number is listed as 'active'. I wonder what he was/is up to in the UFO community then if he does work for the MoD. Yes they have moles so to speak but if he has gained valuable info on people then it would be quite damaging I assume. I've tried to find out about him on various forums but everyone says he has gone underground and or working with with the MoD.
Might be worth keeping tabs on this one because if he pops up on someone unexpectedly who is in on UFO circles then he may make in roads etc.

Whilst the forum is quiet I thought I would bring something interesting up regarding the person who ran UFO Shropshire - Darren Perks
This chap seemed to be doing a decent job in ufology until things started to look like he got mixed up in a bit of hoaxing etc. However it seems there were powers at work or should I say people at work who set him up and the guy disappeared along with his research.
But I was talking to a couple of people recently in West Wales who said he now works for the MoD and has turned over all his work including various information on people he made contact with in the UFO community. Does anyone else know of this?
I heard he succumbed to pressure from the authorities to join them after he got police involved in looking into harassment issues he was experiencing from persons in Canada, Liverpool and North Wales. Apparently Scott Felton the Berwyn UFO researcher was responsible for harassment mail and Perks had him watched and Feltons files hacked and obtained along with Phil Hoyle from Shrewsbury who used to run the animal pathology field unit group. That chap Hoyle did crop circle work too.
I find it interesting how Nick Pope also backs Perks publicly as his 'friend' and close 'colleague', and he also knows Brigitte Barclay extremely well who is also close to Pope. We all know Pope is still very much in with the MoD so it seems Perks is right in there too gathering useful info on the community etc.
Word has it he now lives in London after moving from Scotland, so be good to see if anyone has any news on this chap so we can all look out for him etc...
