ET history in ancient stones
By Duncan Alfreds
Cape Town - The evidence for ancient human contact with extra terrestrial beings lies in the megalithic structures around the world, an author has said.
Michael Tellinger said that the construction of the structures was so complex that ancient people could not have done it without some kind of outside intervention and blasted critics who suggest that the feats could not have been accomplished, using primitive means.
"I would like to give them [critics] a thousand slaves and ask them to replicate some of these structures. Nobody's replicating that today," Tellinger, author of the controversial Slave Species of God, told News24.
"People sit on their arses have no idea of the complexity of putting these structures together. Guys are just theorising and don't do enough research in all areas of knowledge and information," he added.
There have long been debates around the purpose and construction of structures like the pyramids in Egypt, the moai of Easter Island and those built by the Maya and Olmec in Central and Southern America.
Technology
Recent discoveries have raised questions about the technology used to create these structures, some of which have stones weighing in excess of 200 tons and were built by people thought to have no modern technology, including the wheel, in the case of the Mesoamerican civilisations.
"A rule of thumb is that it takes about 10 to 20 men to move a one ton rock, so when you're talking hundreds of tons you're talking thousands of men," said engineer John Brandenburg on History Channels' Ancient Aliens The Series.
One of the puzzling structures is Sacsayhuamán (Falcon's head) near the city of Cusco, Peru. The walled complex was the former capital of the Inca empire and was built of large polished dry-stone walls, each boulder carefully cut to fit together tightly without mortar.
The construction appears to have been done with an unknown technology.
"It's amazing all the weight of the stones... It's difficult definitely for any human to move, even in groups. In some stones we see there are some marks that it seems that it was dissolved," said Jorge Luis Delgado Mamani who has studied the stones for a number of years.
Tellinger said that the mainstream version of human history was completely misguided and the evidence of the stones indicated a "web of deception" leading back several hundred years.
Strategic locations
"Ancient civilisations were obsessed with stone and they had the technology to move it with ease. Civilisations have been on Earth for millions of years - the evidence is all around us.
"This whole thing is one giant web of deception that started when the ancient Sumerians introduced money," he said.
Some authors have pointed to the placing of megalithic structures at strategic locations like Stonehenge in the UK and Carnac in France to tap energy from the earth.
They say that these sites have mystical power that modern people have not yet been able to understand but that can be discerned.
Göbekli Tepe in Turkey has been described as the most ancient temple, dated at about 11 000 years old. German scientists working on the site for 13 years have not found any tools that could have been used to build the huge structures.
Energy
"Carnac as a place is highly charged with energy. As you walk down these corridors, you can feel this charge. The people who built Carnac must have been highly knowledgeable of the earth's energy fields," said Extraterrestrial Archeology author David Childress.
Tellinger agreed, saying that his discoveries in Africa have led him to question the view of mainstream science.
"The stone structures we discovered are not new. In the stone circles at Great Zimbabwe we were told that the population was about 2 500, but then we start finding over ten million stone circles. How could that be done with such a small population? Everything we've been told is wrong."
