I read an awful lot, having about 3 or 4 books on the go at once. At least 2 of them are always to do with UFOlogy. So I decided I would right a small review about the books from now on so that you guys can get a feel for each of the books.
This is the set up I am working on:-
Title of book
Author
Publishers
ISBN number
Picture (if can be found)
Review
Star rating out of 5
So here are the first three books I have reviewed and I hope to see other members uploading theirs.
Reich of the Black Sun: Nazi Secret weapons & The Cold War Allied Legend
Joseph P. Farrell
Adventures Unlimited Press
1-931882-39-8
Reich of the Black Sun is a very well researched book. It contains a lot of references to documents to back up the hypothesis within the book. A basic knowledge of Science is recommended as some of the scientific bits of the book can be a little hard to follow. He points out some very good points in which to consider the currently historical held view on Nuclear weapons, Aircraft design and other ‘important’ human endeavours. The two UFO cases at the end are examined very thoroughly and has even made me reconsider some points I had overlooked.
Overall I believe this is a book for all those interested in UFOlogy and alternative History. Be prepared to change your views on a number of ‘concrete’ facts that we have all be taught.
5 out of 5 Stars
Blue Fires: The Lost secrets of Nazi Technology
Gary Hyland
Headline
0-7472-6456-2
This book was very much a let down. The first chapter held so much promise but after that it goes very much downhill. It seems to be poorly researched and he ‘guesses’ everything. He states time and again there is no evidence or documents to back up what he has ‘discovered’ when it is a known fact that there is evidence out there. I would not recommend this book to anyone.
1 out of 5 Stars
The German UFOs, Extraterrestrials messages and the Supernatural
Maximillien de Lafayette
Times Square Press. Elite Associates International
978-0-557-62393-8
The book was not all that it was cracked up to be. It contains an awful lot of pictures but very little writing or research. Not really much I can say, out of the 100 pages, only 67 of them are actually the book, the rest are either blank ‘Note’ pages or pages ‘flogging’ the authors other books.
