Hello All, The word coincidental carries with it the sense that when things occur together, or within a certain time frame, that they are not necessarily related events. But, for this thread, bringing in an adaptation of the word is key to understanding the position of the idea presented. So i'd like to introduce "co-incidental" to describe the point that events actually ARE related. For starters: At 40,000 years BP (before present) these things occurred: 1)The geological record shows an extremely large spike in beryllium 10, the isotope created when cosmic rays interact with Earth's atmosphere. 2)A very large eruption in the Phlegrean Fields (southern Italy) of what is called the Campanian Ignimbrite took place. 3)A dramatic deterioration in the climate of at least that hemispheric region in addition the Laschamp excursion in which a geomagnetic reversal took place, 4)The Heinrich Event 4 (HE4) which was the fourth of six floating-ice-shelf periods evidenced by rocks in the seabed that were dropped when the ice floes melted. 5)Water levels before the warming were about 100 meters lower than today allowing for coastal settlements which were later inundated. 6)The migration of Cro-Magnon peoples into the European continent (was occuring with the apparent advantage of having language). 7)Neanderthals which had been on the European continent for 90,000 years (themselves becoming extinct 10,000 yrs. later) were losing there habitual food supply (meat) due to over harvesting and hyper-concentration as a result of reduced land space. The animals they depended on for food and shelter, along with Neanderthal, were being squeezed into southwestern Europe by glaciers and the advance of Cro-Magnon. 8-Weather patterns also possessed a split jet stream causing more cold across glacial regions tying up more moisture and leaving the more inhabitable lower latitudes suffering in prolonged drought which had stimulated the north migration of Cro-Magnon in the first place. All in all, the stresses imposed by nature, competition for food and space, and conflicts created and environment at risk for disease and self destruction. If there was an oportunity for extinction this was a major senario. Then too, the evidence of a concentration of beryllium 10 in core samples indicates that a cosmic superwave struck the Planet as well. Not a very pretty picture IMO and if ever Believers in ancient Alien presence and aid wanted a situation that called for intervention this would be a prime time for it. It also would be a fine example of what this thread is attempting to convey. For some this may not be a good enough argument for a rescue senario but at some point the Human population of that era also experienced a tremendous surge of creativity along with an advance in tool making and, as mentioned above, language. Gradual processes of contact with ET? However it's a good theory nonetheless. And for ancient-Alien proponents looking for a solution for current UFO presence, this at least could make for some very interesting and thought-provoking discussion WRT the many points of the co-incidental factors mentioned. It is a good argument for "why" ET might be here. These past events no doubt witnessed great Human suffering and placed the Race at great risk for our extinction. After this time period there was a sudden shift to warming which presents it's own set of dynamics as one can only imagine. It's diffucult to imagine what it must have been like. In the warming cycle the tectonic actions created volcanic activity along with earthquakes as a result of the great weight of ice being removed from the land masses. As fresh water got dumped into the oceans over time, stopping their currents, the cycle would repeat. I'm now working on the next time period. "For some this may not be a good enough argument for a rescue senario but at some point the Human population of that era also experienced a tremendous surge of creativity along with an advance in tool making and, as mentioned above, language. Gradual processes of contact with ET?" is what you wrote hiflier, and I totally agree that someone or something caused the surge in technology approx. 30,000 years ago. In technology I also include writing as I beleive this to be the foundation of any technologically advanced civilization. Why were pyramids of near identical size built at the same time at opposite parts of the world? What was the motivation? Who was the motivation? I write "Who", because in my opinion the "Who" was not from this planet. There is no way a hunter/gatherer society woke up one day and decided to build structures that exsist to this very day tens of thousands of years later.

Hello ronigical,
It has been a question I have asked myself more than once as well. Growing up I just accepted the fact that Egypt and Sumeria just started out in history with fully developed civilizations and never really thought to ask ask about pre-existing societies. I just remember assuming that the information wasn't available. Stupid kid I was. And I have always found the leaps in Human advancements to be a curiosity as one would assume any evolutionary surges in thinking or lithic knowledge to be smoother in their transitions.
My research is initially concentrating on those gaps as they relate to climate and climate as it relates to astrophysics or what could be termed space weather. The focus of this thread of course is targeting severe events and quantifying the data to see if there was in fact killing episodes that were bad enough to wipe us off the face of the Planet.
These occurrances are in the record and some very good people are studying and have been studying tha information for decades now. As new methods are brought to bear, each creating a better understanding of the picture, there is emerging an amazing series of events that need sifting through. Tedium at it's best but the result is quite sobering. What were once thought to be long running changes in climate actually appear to be relatively quick which gives pause WRT todays climate flux.
Is this why the UFOs are here? Or, as this thread is trying to determine from past indicators, is this why UFOs are back here again.

Hello uforn, Ther's more to than that. the post beginning "Yes, UFOs are real...l" was a reply to your first post in which you stated that UFOs are real in the third paragraph that somehow didn't make it in it's proper order until later. I don't know why that occurred. But I assure you there was no editing. The post in response to your query of if I had a theor is in the proper order. Strange that because your post was edited 7 mins after I quoted you Go back and re-read the thread and post times and what has been said. yep this is why I wanted reasons for editing, all due to hiflier, I think I'm owed an apology ? hiflier spammed this on all the forums, I called him out and put his previous history out too, he tried to lie his way out of it, I hope he has gone for good as he is the most odious person I have come across on the ufo scene, mind he did complement my statistics thread which I asked him to read, he disappeared after that.

Ron, I'm wondering if you watched the history channel video that encapsulated the idea of genetic manipulation in early forms of humans via an advanced group of not humans. It would totally support your argument. Even boring archeologists contend that, when our ancestors began to walk upright, and use our voices for communication all hell broke loose as the most dangerous predator on the planet was formed. I really don't want to thank ET for giving me the ability to build a computer, learn calculus, survive life on a flight deck or make make a bunt cake, but reasoning the fact that our best minds can clone sheep makes a valid argument. Couple this with all the abductions stories where abductees contend that they can read minds, change the emotions of others around them, and scramble electronic signals, I really have to wonder if some of us aren't being used for their nefarious plans as unpaid employees, and the rest of us are just left to our own devices.

Hello ronigical,
Hope this post finds you well. I'm posting this to perhaps continue this conversation from where we left off a few months back. Sorry for my absence but as you will see I've been quite active in other areas. I look forward to any opinions you or anyone else may have. I've looked through the topics here from the last few months and see that not much has changed which is perfectly ok as it is certainly the nature of the beast. For myself? I was researching everything I could get my hands on to try and determine if there were any catastrophic events in Earth's history that could warrant any ET intervention. I was going on the premise a poster on another Forum was presenting WRT Human leaps in logic and knowledge being the result of an earlier contact with an alien race.
Being much closer to the science of things I went at it from angle of objectivity in my research. I found plenty of evidence of catastrophic occurances but nothing that would be so significant as to be the elimination of our race. Volcanic activity, ice maximums, impacts, global warming, tsunamis, dead oceans, fire storms, methane releases, cosmic bombardment.... you name it. I looked back from when only bacteria inhabited this planet during the first 2 billion years or so all the way to the present. Studied ice cores, ocean sediment cores, and terrestrial borings.
Nothing. Followed Human evolutionary branches, migrations, tool, agricultural, and architectural advances and saw nothing to indicate an ET influence. The religions were another story and many folks have been down that road to no avail so My research only touched on the subject enough to determine that there was no smoking gun there either.
Where am I going with this? There is certainly enough there to cause a person who wants ET to exist to satisfy that desire. There is also certainly NOT enough to satisfy a person who wants or insists on solid proof. For me it matters not either way. I still say that a small amount of flying objects go unexplained. I still sat that the big Black Triangles are a man-made device as are other "UFO" type craft. And I still see no evidence for a presence that is Alien.
So, for the believer, I will put forth one more idea for why an ET would be here. I say this because a year and a half of UFO Forum discussion and YouTube videos just isn't enough for me even though apparently it is for many others. The Truth simply is not, and will not, be found in either realm- Forum or video. Along with the research into Earth's history one has to eventually encounter what happens outside Earth that accounts for the climate cycles and periods of mass extinctions. There are cycles that are well known by now but I will admit that the discovery of the Fermi Gamma Ray Bubbles eminating from our own galactic center were a real surprise.
It was the existence of those objects that got me to the hypothesis that IF ET is here it could be that they have been migrating outward from the inner reaches of the Milky Way to get further distant from the FGRBs which are devastating to all life. There are claims that there are different Alien races so not just one kind are migrating and so the UFO enigma possesses crafts of different sizes and designs. I can't take this any further than it being only an idea but for a believer it may answer a lot of open questions. Abductee experiences vary from not too bad to very bad. This idea could also account for the various levels of how abductees are treated as well depending on who they are abducted by.
Do I believe any of this? There's not enough science to prove any of it for my taste but try and remember it's just me. It has nothing to do with anyone else either as I am not a debunker and never will be. It's not at all scientific to be that closed minded IMHO so it would be a grave injustice. No, true my goal is, and always has been, to find a way to unite the UFO community into one singular focus simply for the power it could generate to force an answer out into the open. In my mind as a logical person it is the ONLY way to resolve this issue. And, truth be known, it should happen soon before overall control of population opinion, and the ability to change ANYTHING disappears completely.

Welcome back hiflier.
From not only your latest post, but most of what you have written here, the only way you will beleive that "SOME" of the UFOs are ET driven is when you see one. And I do not believe I will ever impress upon you how badly I wish for this to happen for you. When my sightings occured my thought process happened like this; 1. Observe something in the sky. 2. Attach lable to it, i.e., conventional aircraft type. 3. Unable to attach conventional aircraft type lable to the unknown object. 4. Continue to attempt to attach conventional aircraft type lable to the unknown object. 5. Finally accept conclusion; UFO, and in the case of my BT sighting, ESPECIALLY in the case of my BT sighting; ET at the wheel. One bit of advice here for your desire for a sighting; patience. I wasn't looking for them. They just came out of the blue.

Hello ronigical,
Really good to hear from you and I thank you for the inside reasoning WRT your sighting. Yeah, I look up a lot and do have a good sized piece of sky for viewing. I converse with a guy in Florida who says the same things pretty much, especially about the "patient" part. I'm in no particular hurry as it is so patience isn't and really never has been the problem except for when it comes to the UFO community giving so much leeway in the way of time and power to TPTB. I mean, do you yourself think they even HAVE anything worth hiding?
Until revelation of some kind though, as far as I can, all ET senarios are, at best, only hypothetical. One could gather those many senarios that abound out there into one basket and see if whether or not, when plugged into this migration idea, each one still holds up. If so, then as long as individuals can hang onto their own ET ideas and belief systems and, at the same time latch onto this concept for the larger picture, then there might be some progress toward a general unifying theory for the UFO community as a whole. And there is good science behind these FGRBs to help give the concept at least some credibility.
It is however, for now anyway, only a hypothesis. It would be interesting though to see how much of what is currently believed fits the proposed framework. One may be quite encouraged to see that many different ideas and opinions that exist today would still exist but gain more relevance WRT a more developed ETH. Also I can't help but emphasize the importance of gaining the larger view in this subject as opposed to simply stopping at UFO happenings as the end of the the public road toward what could be behind it all. Chasing reports and sightings so far has been rather fruitless (in this at least I hope you agree) and a year from now I'm convinced the story will only be more of the same. That certainly has been the case for decades now and I don't expect any changes anytime soon. Do you? Does anybody?
IF there is an ET here the "why" question still goes unanswered so why not give the concept of an exodus from the inner regions of the galaxy relative to us a go? I mean these gamma ray bubbles would be nothing to trifle with. IF ET exists then Earth (at least on this side of the Galaxy) could have been on their radar for a long time. After all, do we not now ourselves currently have Kepler looking for Goldilocks-zone-type planets? And this is while we are still stuck here! This is kind of why I envission this migration idea as happening in all 360 degrees from the galactic center- not just in our direction for that would be the epitomy of arrogance on our part.

I disagree with your “hypothetical” aspect. Seeing is not hypothetical. Except for the hoaxes, all scenarios hold up to scrutiny of the most intense type. Why? Because we, the witnesses, never change our story. We cannot be bought, and therefore are totally credible sources of information. And believe me when I tell you that in 1969 no world military inventory had a BT I saw. I do not agree with you that “Chasing reports and sightings so far has been rather fruitless (in this at least I hope you agree)…” because the issue of the UFO and what/who are driving these vehicles is why sites such as UFORN exists. The ‘fruit” of theses sites ARE the witnesses AND their reports, that WILL eventuall lead to disclosure. Now, if disclosure comes in a year or 1000 years is to be seen, but it will happen. I hope it happens sooner than later, which is what we all hope. I must admit I agree that “…this migration… [is] happening in all 360 degrees from the galactic center- not just in our direction…” Absolutely. No argument there. But as I am unable to “KNOW” what is happening elsewhere in this galaxy, I will focus on our little corner here on this planet. And yes, ET is here. If I thought otherwise I would not be on this site or any other site dedicated to the UFO PHENOMENON.

Hello ronogocal,
Thank you my friend for your help in getting things back on track so well. You know I can certainly get a little far out there so returning to this Forum methinks was just the ticket I needed for the wake-up. I do have to say that my point is to not stop at those sightings and reports but expand one's range of thinking. I see so much of in the way of limited subject and dialogue around. Probably because I'm still a member of so many Forums. As a result I can get caught generalizing a little too much. I will try to be more considerate and mindful of folks and their individualities. So my apologies and again, thanks,
hiflier. P.S. I miss meldrew.
