Now I have read in the past that during the reporting and further reportings on the now infamous Betty and Barney Hill case was that the 'Aliens' spoke fractered English in something akin to a German accent.
Now I cannot find where I have heard this, but wondering if anyone else has heard similar or if they have their own theories?

I've not heard that, but is it possible the Hills were describing to their best what the telepathic 'voices' sounded like?
Example: My parents and I were recently watching a re run of Ancient Aliens and there was a portion of the film where Erik Von Daniken was speaking. My mother said Mr. Von Daniken sounded Egyptian, like Zahi Hawass. Her American ear could not discern between the two when only listening to one speak. Once she said that my American ear agreed.
Just a thought.
EDIT: I just read a bit of Mrs. Hill's decription of her experience while under hypnosis. In it she mentioned she felt as though the enitities were evil looking and uniform in appearance, much like Nazis. This could well have been her own emotional feelings coming into play.
Remember, the event took place in the early 60's, not very long after WWII, and the Hills' were of the age group that would have been deeply impacted by the Nazi idea and the terrible fear it incited in the American public during WWII.
Still today, WWII Nazis are depicted as evil incarnate, the stuff of the worst, wicked nightmares. I recall a horror movie from many years ago where an ugly, Nazi demon was terrifying a person. This image is well instilled in many an American mind.

greyfalcon.us/The%20Hill%20Abduction.htm*snip* It was through Webb that the Hills realized that they had lost more than two hours during their trip. Something more than just a UFO encounter must have occurred to explain the "missing time". Soon after the encounter, both Hills began experiencing physical and psychological effects from the experience. Betty had nightmares in which she found herself being taken aboard the UFO and examined by small, humanoid beings. Barney began to suffer from high blood pressure, ulcers, exhaustion, and a strange circle of warts around his groin area. Both underwent extensive medical examinations by specialists in 1962 and eventually were referred to Dr. Benjamin Simon, a respected psychiatrist and neurologist with an extensive background in hypnosis therapy. Dr. Simon began a six month series of hypnosis therapy at the Hills own expense, beginning in late 1963. Both Betty and Barney told virtually identical stories while under hypnosis. They were now able to recall that their car stalled and was soon surrounded by a band of little 'men' dressed in tight fitting black uniforms and that they were taken aboard the craft. Barney was terrified, saying he felt like a "rabbit before a predator". He described the ships leader as looking like a "German Nazi" wearing a shiny black jacket, scarf and cap. (Actual quote: "...another figure has an EVIL face... he looks like a German Nazi... His eyes! His eyes. I've never seen eyes like that before." ) ----------------- I cannot account for the veracity of the above.
