Hi there,
I am an artist wishing to interview abductees for a video piece I am making in the next 2 months. The exhibition that the video work is being created for is about institutional scandals or coverups. This video work will treat the abductees respectfully and sensitively and will focus on the emotional damage/ feelings of betrayal that can be caused by events being covered up by an institution or government. Could anyone here give me some direction as to where I could get in touch with someone who may have been abducted? Identities will not be used and I will be recording audio interviews only. The finished work will be exhibited in New Rochelle in 2013 an internationally after that.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated,

hi irishartist. this sounds like an interesting project, if I was looking for abductees to interview I would probably look at forums where they hang out, I'm sure some on here will know what ones to look at, alien ufos have a few abductees who may be willing to take part www.alien-ufos.com/personal-ufo-alien-experiences-alien-dreams/I would like to know how you get on with this project  |

Hi Meldrew, Thanks so much for the advice, I'm hoping I can find at least 2 people to interview. It should turn out to be quite an interesting piece. Once it's finished -probably in late January- I will post a link so people can have a look here and discuss it! Hi irishartist, there are some members on the David Icke forum that claim to have been abducted, in fact one of the Moderators called ufochick claims to have had abduction experiances you might want to talk to her |

I have had quite a few abduction experiences and missing time stuff which started when I was about 11 years old, then again in my twenty's and later in my 40's. If you want this information, you must let me edit and direct the end result before publication  |

Bazmatic that sounds fascinating, I intend to speak to people over telephone or skype and record the audio interview that way if possible. Would you be interested in this? It's not for a media company, it's an art work for an exhibition in the Spring in New York The finished piece will be exhibited in a gallery |

As I am still just learning in this area it's really great to hear peoples opinions on who is considered genuine or not! Some of us on here are really clued up when it comes to HOAXER's and Frauds, you will learn alot from this site Im sure I think you will struggle to get any abductees to talk irishartist, most of them dont want to talk about it and the ones that openly talk about it on forums are usually off their trollys. |

I agree with judge (uforn) this part of the UFO phenomenon is a mine field, one of the most famous abductees a woman named Leah Haley, after years of book writing, conferences and TV appearances she declared it was all a con, perpetuated by the US armed services, don't get abductees mixed up with contactees, the latter say they can communicate with ETs telepathically, they have been known to wear tin foil hats to block out ETs telepathic rays, now the contactees really are off their trollys lol
