Hi,
My name is Rik and I work for the Belgian television production Company: Sputnik Media(www.sputnik.tv).
We are currently working on a new television production for The Belgian National Broadcaster VIER.
An item of the show is about UFO spotting. We want to do this with someone who knows a lot about UFO’s.
We will be filming in Las Vegas from 19th untill 22th of January.
So would it be possible to provide me with a phone number or an e-mail adress of someone in Las Vegas who’s willing to join our two hosts when they go UFO spotting?
Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. I’ll be happy to answer them. You can contact me on rik@sputnik.be
I'll be looking forward for some a reply!
Thanks in advance and have a nice day everybody!
Best regards,
Rik

Hi Rik there are alot of UFO Researchers in the Las Veags area, what kind of documentary is it going to be ? Are you looking for facts or just out to ridicule as is usually the case ?

Hi Uforn.
Thanks for the reply. It's certainly not our objective to make fun out of UFO spotting. The show is about two hosts (David and Nico) who are two belgian actors. They made a bucket list of 100 things they really want to do before they die. One item on their list is to go on a UFO spotting trip with someone who know's a lot about it. They came up with this idea because of Nico. He's really into extraterrestrial life, he's really fascinated about it. David is a little skeptical about it and thats why Nico wanted to put this on the list.
So my job, as a researcher, is not to give an opinion about the subject, but to find someone who has got something interesting to tell about the UFO phenomenon in Las Vegas:)
Thanks in advance!

A UFO spotting trip, that sounds like you expect one to just show up or something, that isnt the case when it comes to genuine sightings, they are unexpected and not something someone is looking for.
Why have you chose Las Vegas ?

I know that it's not something that you can look for. And we certainly realize that our chances to accauly spot one are nihil. But if we just go on a trip with someone who can explain our hosts where someone already saw a UFO, or where the best places are for an increasing chance to see one, and tell them about their expierences are...
We have chosen Las Vegas because the UFO spotting is not the only thing we want to film during our trip to the united States. We want to do a lot more in Vegas and Los Angeles...

without a doubt I can see the lure of a road trip to Vegas. If unable to find anything in the sky one can certainly have fun doing other things.... but... if I was serious about going hunting for UFO's, I think my first choice would be Clearwater Florida... source - MUFON Admin note: Edit to resize large image

There are many areas to UFO research so what is it exactly you want to do the documentary on? is it going out to places where people have witnessed sightings? are you wanting the public to get involved who have had sightings ? are you wanting big name researchers to give their opinions ?
What is the goal so to speak of the documentary ?

First of all, it's not our purpose to shoot a documantary. The whole item is about being on a trip that has something to do with UFO's.
We don't need a very known professor to come with us. Just someone who really believes in them, someone who's friendly and willing to show us around and share some interesting points of views with our hosts... Not more, not less

We don't have the time and we are on a very tight budget.

What do you mean by that? What if someone from the UK wanted to get involved, would they have their expenses paid? ie: Travel costs ( flights, hotels food) etc?

Heres a thing then, now we have given matey the required info, job done and all that where would you members go for a UFO watch ? I'm not sure why but Costa Rica sprang to mind, and that hippy place in Oregon too, not Las Vegas anyways.

hmmm...
As I had stated above.... right now I think the "hot spot" is in or around Clearwater Florida.... but.... Costa Rica does sound interesting.... as does the are around the deserts in new mexico....
As was also stated above... not sure how tru it is.... but they claim... the ECETI ranch in Trout Lake Washington that if you $$$$ they magically show up.... amazing how that works huh?
