Hello All, Ran aross this image on the web of a Black Triangle photographed by a crew member on the STS61C-31-2 trip: eol.jsc.nasa.gov/scripts/sseop/QuickView.pl?directory=ISD&ID=STS61C-31-2 So I had no choice but to send off this email: "Hello NASA Team, I ran across this image: eol.jsc.nasa.gov/scripts/sseop/QuickView.pl?directory=ISD&ID=STS61C-31-2 on a UFO web site. Would you be so kind as to verify it's truthfulness? If it is not an edited image would you be willing to elaborate on the black object within it? If it not authentic would you be able to forward to me the unaltered image or provide the raw image data so I can view the data? Or please forward this email to the NASA Responsible Official: Susan Runco? Sincerely, XXX XXXXXX P.S. Your work and accomplishments have been nothing short of magnificent and I Thank You all for your efforts and expertise!" Now we wait for their response

Hello All, Navigating around the site I was able to isolate that image by using their search features. There is in fact that image. It came up again as before when I searched the database for mission "STS61C", typed in the roll number of the "film" which is "31", and then the frame number which is "2". This came up: eol.jsc.nasa.gov/scripts/sseop/mrf.pland the "space debris", as it is called, is really there. I will still wait for the email though.

Here's the image forever attached to this forum in case it gets taken down. The BT is pretty prominent. However, I'm more interested in the odd atmosphere look on the left side. Attachments:
