The Humming Bird
Oh Hummingbird trill........ and sing me a song
So my ears may hear...... as my days are long
Then give me a tune in the land of fallow
In the deep swishing way....... not coarse or shallow
Lighten my heart and give me a wisp
Then let the wind blow with all my sorrow
Let the hoarse wind change..... that gathers pace
Be drawn in my debt.......... as I race and holler
Pretty bird fair...... all vibrant and mellowed
With a streak filled with gold of Canary yellow
Sing us your song that I may follow
Be it a quaver....... with the sound of labour
If dismal sounds speak to the ears of the sheep
Let the trill of your song be mine to keep.

That's beautiful and has special meaning for me because I'm hearing impaired.
