Hi folks. So, i'm interested in buying night vision camcorder for UFO skywatching, for let's say a few hundreds $, but i don't have any idea which one to buy! I was looking this one on Amazon: amzn.to/mED9Wo but how should i know if it's any good for long range recording? I really like magnetflipper's videos (his youtube channel: www.youtube.com/user/magnetflipper) but equipment he's using is quite expensive. Video: So, does anybody have any experience in this field? Any affordable nightvision IR camcorder? Please also post links on amazon and UFO videos made with this camcorders, if you have any suggestions! Thanks!

Hi lus, a friend of mine has a hand held one the type gamekeepers use we are going to try it out sometime but i dont think its going to be that good as it has no zoom of its own. I think that cost around the £200 mark when he got it. From what Ive seen what people use they are quite expensive around the £1500 mark, but they are really good. A popular one people use is the nvrs gen 2 + here's a link www.rugift.com/photocameras/night-vision-scope-nvrs3x50.htmThey are very expensive on that site but ive seen the for around $1500, I would keep a look out on ebay for a really good one which you could probably pick up for around $500 Here's a video of that model www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Fz2dD-HGjA&feature=player_embedded
