Hi guys I'm new here so by way of introducing myself I'm going to post a link here to an article I wrote that explains both where I'm coming from and why I am here (because I am a man with a mission - if you read my article you will understand what I mean). If you could read and respond to this article I would be most grateful.
Here's the link: cognizantnationhq.weebly.com/1/post/2013/08/do-you-want-to-meet-an-alien.html
Many thanks.
Peace, Love & Respect

Hi Peter welcomme to UFORN In your video the footage taken over Whitley Bay is not a UFO, the footage was shown on BBC news and it is footage of a Meteor falling to earth. Here's the full footage. Edit to add peterxdunn's video for comparrison ~

The Ariel School incident you mention in your article is an intereesting case, the late John Mack did an investigation into it, have you seen the documentary on John Mack's research ?

I am aware that the object over Whitley Bay was reported as a meteor - I saw the same object over Manchester. The thing is, the slowest a the slowest ever recorded speed: using radar, for a meteor was 10 miles per second: or 36,ooo mph. Is the object in the video you posted here travelling at anything like that speed? Further an object travelling at that speed through the atmosphere would generate a sonic boom - this object was totally silent. Then there are the witness statements. People saw this object turn, rise up and then descend. I myself saw the object ascending and then level off at about 500 feet. With all due respect, these objects aren't meteors my friend.
Thanks for your interest all the same.

The video I showed is from the source and he was witness to the event at whitley Bay he said it was a Meteor, the guy that shot the footage is called Steve Pugh. Another witness to the event also from Whitley Bay had this to say on the Meteor Watch website.

Possibly but since there is nothing we can look at that we can compare that travels at that speed then we are just speculating.

Hi Uforn - yes many people said it was a meteor. But the fact remains - when I saw this object - it was rising upwards in the sky. Other witnesses, at other locations, said pretty much the same. It was also totally silent when an object travelling at supersonic speed through the atmosphere should generate a noise like thunder. These objects are being witnessed: low flying, silent fireballs, and many filmed - all over the world. I believe NASA announced that it wants Americans to report these objects directly.
As I've stated - meteors travel ten + miles per second. This means that a meteor could pass over the entire length of the UK in 1 minute and 3 tenths of a second. Meteors travel so fast that people barely have time to react to them. These objects clearly aren't meteors/bolides. Meteors do not change course like this one did. Only an object under some form of control can do what these objects do.
They are also appearing overhead with increasing frequency. There have been at least four such events witnessed over Manchester alone: not all of these made it into the press or on the news. I now carry a camera with me all the time - in the hope that I will be ready the next time.
Keep watching the skies.

Keep watching the skies. Hi Peter I'm not doubting what you say you witnessed, but after looking at around 40 reports of this my conclusion is that it was a meteor event, I suspect some reports that you mention are from witnesses that didnt know what they were observing, lets face it not many people get to see a display like this do they? Have you got any sources for the witnesses you mention? Edit to add ~ The speed of a meteor and appearance that is witnessed from the ground would differ greatly due to a number of factors, such as, size, angle of trajectory, how high in the atmosphere, what position the witness is observing it from etc. A good example of a meteor that appears to the witness to have differing speeds and appearance can be seen in this compilation of footage of the meteor that hit Russia ealier in the year, filmed from multiple locations, you can see the difference in the speed and appearance from the perspective of the observer.

Hi Peter, I'm not really that interested in your meteor video, I'm more interested in the Ariel School sighting you mention in your article, its a very interesting case and it hasnt been looked at in any great detail here, its a case I would be interested in taking a closer look at. If you would like to start a thread on the ariel incident and bring what you have I will gladly help out and do some research on the case.
