Hello all! Found this site through the DI forums after seeing a UFO a couple of weeks ago. Have seen a night vision scope, £99, thats coming up as a special offer at Aldi this Sunday 2nd Oct. It looks like a Yukon of some sort. Was thinking about buying this for star gazing. Can anyone recommend this? What do you use? Any thoughts please. Thanks. www.hotukdeals.com/deals/night-vision-device-99-99-aldi/768263

But as it has little details on it I cannot make a good judgement. But it would still do the job fairly well.

These are Gen1 and not made by Yukon Well, I've had this unit for a few weeks now, and on a clear night you can see everything! I was quite surprized, as my expectations were quite low. Definately watching the skies more now than ever. Have seen a fare few satellites over the last few weeks, only been two that Ive not been so sure of.

Cool, Gen I's aren't have bad, you can buy them now for kids (the MOD 'action man' thingy), also the MW2 special edition ones were Gen I. I remember when Gen I was really expensive ;D I use this website for Satellite tracking, everything that is not under secerecy etc is on there, with real time tracking. Hope it helps. www.n2yo.com/
