OPINION: Do they really know what’s going on?

Ok, I can no longer ignore the increasing number of massive animal deaths in recent news.
The first to catch my eye was the story of 5,000 blackbirds falling from the sky in a town of Little Rock, which is a little unsettling on its own, but then I read about the 100,000 fish that died around the same time in a town a little more than 100 miles away.
I am normally not one to jump to conclusions, in fact I am normally an advocate for not jumping, but to be honest my first thought was something like: “wow, that’s a little suspicious”.
After reading what the “experts” said about the deaths of these animals, it didn’t really ease my mind; in fact it made me more worried. Many scientists claim that the event is not unique but they are the same ones who have no idea what caused the birds and fish and pelicans to die.
So I guess the only thing they know for sure is that mass amounts of birds or fish have died in the past. Let us not forget they still have no definitive cause for the animal’s deaths.
It’s not just the fish either. Jellyfish and starfish have been found dead, along with over 70 bats dropping dead in Arizona.
This is the age of Internet. This is the age of information and because of this our friends at Google have added to the mayhem by adding a special world map that has marked all locations of mass animal fatalities for your own imagination.
While this technology may prolong the conspiracy theorists ideas, it also gives a clear and large scale view of what has actually been happening.
What I find hilarious is that in many cases the words, “theory” and “believe” are used in abundance to describe the “experts” thoughts on the situations.
So let’s be honest; they don’t really know what’s going on.
While I do believe the idea of UFO gamma rays or secret government testing is a little far-fetched, I wish I could say I dismiss them entirely. If the government did test a weapon or something similar and it caused the death of millions of animals, do you really think we would hear about it?
It’s way more likely that if an incident did occur the experts would give their advice and the office talk of the dead birds would settle after a couple of months. And that would be it, the cover would be complete, the world would be a few thousand birds short, and business would be back on track.
Scary I know, and normally I, like many others, want to believe there is something big going on when 99% of the time there is not, but it’s just something about these recent events I cannot ignore. I can’t explain it, but the magicians over at Google have given you a tangible connection to this unknown force whatever it may be.
My message to readers; don’t bet on Armageddon or UFOs, but don’t let these stories pass you up, just for information sake.
