Good luck to anyone who's in the path of Hurricane Sandy, the news in the UK is full of this, if its as bad as they say it will be there could be a fair bit of damage and flooding, it must be a nightmare for those in the path.

I read this book, it was a real eye opener, and what could be coming the way of normal citizens. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zeitoun_(book)ZeitounZeitoun is a nonfiction book written by Dave Eggers and published by McSweeney's in 2009. It tells the story of Abdulrahman Zeitoun, the Syrian-American owner of a painting and contracting company in New Orleans who chose to ride out Hurricane Katrina in his Uptown home. After the storm he traveled the flooded city in a secondhand canoe rescuing neighbors, caring for abandoned pets and distributing fresh water. Soon after the storm, Zeitoun was arrested without reason or explanation at one of his rental houses by a mixed group of National Guardsmen and local police. He was not immediately charged with a crime but was imprisoned for 23 days without having stood trial. During that time he was accused of terrorist activity presumably because of his ethnicity, was treated inhumanely, and was refused medical attention and the use of a phone to alert his family. His wife and daughters, staying with friends far away from the city, only knew that he had seemingly disappeared from the face of the earth.

Laura Trevelyan BBC News, New York At Battery Park City on the southern tip of Manhattan, the water is already lapping over my boots. It's only mid-morning, hours before Hurricane Sandy is due to make landfall, and the ocean is swelling. Tonight with the storm surge the water levels are expected to rise, though already it seems to me the water is as high as it was during Hurricane Irene last year. The city is eerily quiet. The Nasdaq sign at Times Square was blank - even the stock exchange isn't trading. The subways are shut, grocery stores have signs up saying they've already run out of food. The city is braced for what could be the worst storm in a generation. At this point the preparations have been made - sandbags are everywhere in lower Manhattan. All anyone can do is wait, anxiously. The storm threatens to devastate an 800-mile (1,290-km) swathe of the US, from the Atlantic Ocean to the Great Lakes in the Mid-West. Up to 3ft (91cm) of snow is expected to fall on the Appalachian mountains in West Virginia, Virginia and Kentucky. The storm has already killed 69 people - 52 of them in Haiti - after sweeping through the Caribbean in the past week. At 14:00 EDT (18:00 GMT), Sandy was churning about 170 miles south-east of New York City, the National Hurricane Center (NHC) said. The storm had strengthened from the morning, packing maximum sustained winds clocked at 90mph with higher gusts. Hurricane force winds extended for 175 miles and tropical storm force winds for 485 miles, the NHC added. The eye of the weather system, which has been dubbed Frankenstorm, is expected to make landfall just south of the New Jersey coast by early evening, the NHC said. www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-20121811

Best wishes to all affected by 'Sandy' and I hope you are all safe.
How long before we get the UFO reports? It's bound to happen.

I was thinking exactly the same baz, here you go: Quote: UFO Filmed Over Hurricane Sandy From Space Station
UFO spotted over Hurricane Sandy from the International space station. This is from pass one of the video NASA Released from the International Space Station. This UFO appears to be green on top red in the center. Possible orb shaped UFO watching the storm. The camera zooms in right when you see the UFO. www.ufo-blogger.com/2012/10/hurricane-sandy-ufo-filmed-over.html |
There's a video at the link

Intense HAARP Activity Recorded Prior To Hurricane Sandy source - www.ufo-blogger.com/2012/10/hurricane-sandy-intense-haarp-activity.htmlHurricane Sandy is being described as the “worst storm in 100 years” and will possibly mutate to super-storm status once it combines with a polar air mass over the eastern United States enabling it to cause widespread damage and chaos. Intense HAARP activity was recorded in East Coast of United States prior to Hurricane Sandy. According to haarpstatus.com "readings continue in the Northeast with a start longwave time on October 19th, peaking a few days ago. The white shade has not been seen before in this project and we suspect it is a reading that is over 10. Unknown at the time. The link below is a you tube video where the author speculates that chemical dumps where being pumped into Sandy to "fuel" the intestity. www.youtube.com/watch?v=o4P7Kr17RX8&feature=player_embedded

The High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP) is an ionospheric research program jointly funded by the U.S. Air Force, the U.S. Navy, the University of Alaska, and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency source en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_Frequency_Active_Auroral_Research_Program While HAARP does claim to have legitimate purposes (all which can be seen on the above Wikipedia page), many conspiracy theorists believe that HAARP is really a weather manipulating system. The 7 minute YouTube video below from can explain things better than I can. It first explains the legitimate purpose, and then it goes into the fringe thinking of HAARP. However, for those not interested in watching, the quick fringe thinking is, that when energy (frequencies) are blasted up into the ionosphere, it creates a “bubble” that is filled in by the stratosphere. There by moving jet streams and etc.. www.youtube.com/watch?v=xo-T_KvLNdQ – source history.com In an effort to prove the conspiracy theory true, websites like www.haarpstatus.com monitor the frequencies being blasted into the ionosphere. Now getting back to the original video from UFO-Blooger, I had never heard about dumping chemicals into storms to “fuel” the intensity.
